Didnt waste much time before losing their first wicket
Or their second
Good toss to win without question.
Play resumed after the rain delay. Currently India are 62 for 6. Keep our cool
and we could be on course to go 2-0 up.
96 for 9.
107 all out.
Great toss to win, we would have been in the same mess I think, hope it’s sunny tomorrow!
Being too in love with their IPL is ruining their test team. Probably only Kohli that they have, that I would put in our team. Gone are the days of greats like Tendulkar and Sehwag. Overcast overseas conditions where you have to play slower and keep concentrating it just doesn't work for them. Should be 5-0 to us. Be tougher for England when they travel to Sri Lanka.
India are the number one test team in the world.
Home advantage counts for a lot these days. Away teams rarely win a series. 12 months time we will do to Australia what they did to us.
True enough. Don't think we will do Austrialia 5 0 though can see them winning a test. Test cricket has a lot of problems and the massive difference home advantage makes is one of them. Was talk about scrapping the toss and letting the away side choose to balance it out.
Anderson was pretty much unplayable on that pitch. I can't think of any team that could have coped with the bowling and those conditions
India's problem has been lack of preparation, and probably arrogance.
How many red ball warm up's have they had, one? and even then they decided to cut it down to just 3 days...
India are number one test team in the world. The IPL therefore clearly not ruining the test team.
Il have you a bet now we dont beat Australia 5 nil or even 4 nil
2 teams who think a moving ball is a thing of unplayable mystery, garbage technique may give the true reasons for constant failures
England 161 for 5, lead by 54.
211 for 5, lead by104.
280 for 5, lead by 173.
India 13 for 2, chasing 276.
