Whether you have emotional investment in a club or a shop is irrelevant, they're both businesses and as a result are run like a business, unless you're on the board then you get no inside information, other than what gets filed at Companies House.

 

Just to let you know we were bought by an investment company. They aren’t doing it because they grew up like you and me wanting to be blanchflower/winstanley/glavin or redfearn etc

As I said earlier they intend on increasing revenue streams. So that we can grow etc.

Jay asked a legitimate question. And they could speculate using income that's come in significantly (On our terms at least) very recently.

But not if it no longer exists.

It just seems that nobody is willing to explain that.

Especially if it no longer exists and we become so much in debt to an investment company from any speculation.

I'd hazard a guess that 90% of your posts aren't actually about BFC, more likely to be moans about other posters on here... you whine on about people stifling discussion but you contribute nothing either.

 

By the same token then using your own logic what reason should the last owner just leave us some cash?

 

I never used to moan about other posters. I just disagreed with them. Then people like you started plaguing the board. I've had no choice but to say what I think about people like you destroying this board and I will continue to do so for as long as I see fit. I still talk about BFC more than anything else though.

He still owned the ground (or part)
He received a significant amount from the sale (probably)

Again just because you and I would give our last 2p the whole “he’s a fan” line is a strange reason for people to expect someone to just give away money, irrespective of how it’s earned.

I have to agree also. This discussion comes up again and again, it often turns quite fractious and we never get any answers, just supposition. Of course we would all like clarity but we're unlikely to ever get it and I can live with that, I'm really not overly obsessed with the issue.
