I hope he's been careful how he gets in and out of it.

Makes sense. Both half a game to get some rhythm back but without stressing them too much.

I reckon Lloyd will have a good stab at doing it.
Don’t be surprised to hear he’s jumped out of his dugout seat and banged his head on the roof rendering him unconscious for the next 5 months.

I hope he's got his chafed ganglion well strapped up. Don't want him laid up for three months again.

It’s a bad situation when someone’s saying ‘well in’ to a player for making the bench

That’s a pity. I’ve a lot of time for the lad (yes, I know that puts me in a minority of about...one). Was hoping he’d do well on the road to a full recovery.

He didn’t influence the game at all unfortunately. I just don’t see where he fits into Stendel’s team and looks a shadow of the player he was during the promotion season. Shame but I see him moving on in January.

You may be right but I think we all know this is going to be a tougher season than many thought in August. That means we’re likely to call on the squad over the year. Isgrove has more than proved it at this level so i’d genuinely like to think he could play his part.

Glad he’s back to fitness & got 45 minutes in the meaningless cup.

Let’s hope he can get fully fit and back to the form he was showing at the end of promotion season. Be a cracking option to the squad if he can.

Enjoyed listening to the match tonight while driving down south, with zero pressure and a young team getting a run out. Sounded like Ben Williams and Jared Bird did well. Commentators regularly said Bird had great vision and was playing nice passes.

You're in a minority of two. I like the lad too, long way to go yet, no point in judging him on half a game tonight.

....and it wasn't the treatment bench!

As was evident tonight, he needs to run around for quite a while in order to eventually look like a useful footballer.

Only Moncur, Jackson and Hedges looked semi-capable tonight.

You didn’t think Woodrow or Davies looked capable? Also commentators seemed to think B Williams and Bird did very well. And sounded like Jordan Williams was much better pushing forward in second half.

Did sound like Brown and Victor were fairly quiet, and Fryers was playing his first match & out of position so assume it was fitness.

Wasn’t there but shame Woodrow isn’t a capable looking footballer.
