    From the same level of sources the original rumours were from are now saying we are back in for Chaplin and the Bahre signing is far from over as the only problem is how the payments will be paid. Can be solved soon.

    I've never seen Bahre play but we can get better than Chaplin. Woodrow is a top drawer signing and really believe he's a superb replacement for Bradshaw.

    Thought he had gone to Coventry but apparently not and the deal is still alive. Not sure I see attraction looking at his record however if he scores a couple I fully expect this to be bumped, so probably easier just to say I think he is brilliant.

    No idea really how good this Chaplin fellow is meant to be. If he was a world beater you’d think he would be in the Portsmouth team.

    But media in Coventry and Portsmouth saying he’s got a medical tomorrow at Coventry and set to sign in time to play Saturday.

    I don’t believe we’re in for half the players the press suggest. Nobody knew about Dougall, Styles, williams or Woodrow until right before they signed (or had already signed but not announced) so imagine the club are happy for any red herrings to be out in the press to keep people away from our real targets. The days of leaks finding their way out of Oakwell thankfully seem over.

    Happy to wait and see where we are come the end of this odd loan window which actually is a transfer window in all but name.

    It sounds like Bahre is a Stendel signing. I’ll be pleased if we back the manager with at least one lad he rates personally as well as any signings made through ‘statistical analysis’. No idea if the fella is any good but Stendel has had plenty of time with our squad so must be fairly sure he’ll improve it.

    You need to just turn off your internet during transfer windows.

    You're just insufferable. More so than usual.

    There's nothing that has come out official saying that those 4 players are targets. For good reason. To avoid exactly what you are doing right now.

    Just wait for the official announcements and don't listen to rumours, you clearly can't handle them.

    Nar I've got a new job now so I cant spend days trawling through old posts anymore.

    Back on topic, Nudger needs to chill art. I know it's his gimmick to start 3 threads a day, but as it stands we've replaced Bradshaw with Woodrow and not lost anyone else. If we bring anyone in, then it's a bonus.

    Maybe another winger would be helpful but I'm sure it's under control.
