Let's not even try to get in a goal scorer or keep our foot on the gas after the 50 point mark Pathetic defeatism engrained in this Football Club.
Never showed up tonight. No quality up front until Bradshaw came on. These last 4 or 5 games have badly shown how much we miss the players we lost in January. Dejected after watching tonight's performance.
We haven't won away at QPR since about 1485. Their first goal was ridiculous. We went on a run of 1 win in 11 earlier in the season with those oh-so-brilliant players that were guaranteed to get us in the play-offs. Not saying we're doing great or anything but some perspective is really needed not just tonight but in general
A bit of an overreaction. Our aim at the start of the season was to stay up at the midway point to hit 50 points and now to finish top 12. A great season either way. Feel a bit sorry for Hecky a bit of support would have been appropriate given his efforts so far but we can regroup in the summer.
Plenty of fans feel like the board too in just happy to be staying up, job done mentality too, which is dissapointing. Roll on the summer rather than watching another second half of the season like the one under Keef that went from play off contender to significant drop off. We might be waiting years for another genuine chance of championship play offs and we gave it up with half a season remaining. The pot of good replacements out there is drying up too.
Correct. I've been watching this football team now long enough to know that teams like the ones in both halves of 2016 do not come round very often. It is sad to see such a good side broken up.
This is what I think is poor. Each to their own. "Pathetic defeatism engrained in this Football Club"
No need to direct the poster to the Fowls. If he's been tonight and pissed away money I understand the need to sound off
OK, I apologise, but they are the kings of whining, and I think it's extreme. I take my hats off to anyone who has been tonight. I've been to QPR several times, and we've had nothing there. I won't return until we break the hoodoo.
Best post have seen for ages well said. Were next seasons Rotherham in the making but most on here thinks everything is Rosie
if you look hard enough you will see some of our first team ...they are there already and why not ...the board gave them and Paul some great motivation to advance further ( NOT ) back in January...so who can blame them
I'm pretty sure we tried getting a goal scorer in. The problem is we've been a victim of our own success. We've had such a fantastic 12 to 18 months that it was going to be almost impossible to keep up such momentum without hitting a sticky patch. Thankfully we've enough points on board to secure championship football next season, that's not to say I'm not disappointed that we could keep our squad together but to be honest if someone had offered my the positioned we are in now but it would be without Hourihane, Winnall and Bree then I'd have snapped their hands off.
