    I disagree,

Think McCarthy and Davies are at fault for the first goal. The first outmuscled and wrongs side of his man the second made a clanger.

Penalty was poor and unneeded challenge.

The third came from hedges not completing and Davies should have got two hands to it.

While it wasn't his best came I still thought he competed well and all of our players were making mistakes resulting in our performance as a team been very poor.

Get off the lads back twice the player he was last season and played better than gus in his opening games

Grief. We have a new team, playing together and learning. Vs one of the biggest teams in the country.

Yes, the kid had an off day.

Can we move on? This **** won't help anyone.

I personally thought Jackson had a solid first half barring the challenge for the penalty. I thought he, like the rest of the team were poor in the 2nd half.

And if you look at the other end of the pitch, who's bright of brightest ideas was it to play Bradshaw on his own against John Terry. Think what you like about him and his personal circumstances, he had all our attacking players in his pocket from the first minute.

Without actually breaking sweat I'd say too, we have to play 451 as the second half showed however that 1 isn't Bradshaw unfortunately

Various players were at fault for the goals. The 2nd it was a needless challenge, but also Lindsay missed the initial header from the long ball which allowed their player to get in

1 up front has undoubtedly been working for us, unfortunately not yesterday, as their high pressing meant we were forced to play long balls which doesn't work and was meat and drink for their defence. Bradshaw has done really well on his own in most games, but he isn't a target man. Unfortunately we found it difficult to find other options because they closed down well

Exactly. Every time we lose there has to be a scapegoat. You are picking yours. I'm saying it's ******.
Villa had an ex England international, signed from last years Premier league champions & the other CB cost over £8 million & has played a couple of seasons in the Premier League. We have 4 young lads to choose at CB, the most experienced is our captain with 18 championship starts. Having a go at one or the other of them is just unproductive. As you say, he's been solid this season. We lost because Villa pressed us & mistakes were made.
