If only he had said this during the election campaign instead of calling him a terrorist sympathiser, a coward, an hypocrite, saying he wasn't a man of principles etc. Rees-mogg is saying these things now simply to make himself look like a nice guy after the entire country saw him for what he was
I don't agree with everything he says but I've never had an issue with him. Whenever I hear interviews with him I always get the impression that he is giving honest answers regardless of whether they are popular answers.
Is he sharing some of his investment profits towards C19 or do moral vacuums only exist in football circles?
Anybody who christens a son Sixtus Dominic Boniface Christopher is out of touch with " ordinary" folk. Poor mite.
This is the man that has so much respect as Leader of the House, that he laid down on the front bench & closed his eyes! Not fit to be a MP! Weasel words from another elites charlatan
Not in the slightest. Now if he were to vote in the same Division Lobby as JC then I might, but only if he gave his wealth to a deserving cause as well
Aĺl these weasely Tories are pretending to be friends of the working class now the sh*t is hitting the fan. I have little faith that the people who were hoodwinked in December will see through their evil disproportionate ways now and will still hold them in high regard. I am fully aware that this pandemic is a threat that this country has never had to deal with during the reigng of social media and as such people's opinions and mindset is different to a war but a war is exactly what it is. I call for all working class people to stick together, fight each other's corner, behave in a manner which will contain the spread of this deadly virus and hopefully come out of the other side unscathed. God bless you all.
His only claims to being extraordinary are for being out of touch with ordinary people and for believing we still live in the year 1858.
I didn’t say Rhys-Mogg is extraordinary. I’m struggling to think of a politician that is. I said I don’t want to be led by ‘ordinary’ people.
Nobody asked to be though. They said they wanted to be led by people who were not out of touch with ordinary people. I see nothing extraordinary in anyone born with a silver spoon in their mouth going on to be successful businessmen, rich or to study politics at Oxford. What I do find extraordinary is the working class man or woman who works hard to fight for their opportunities, earns it on merit and then with good intentions tried their hardest to do what's right. They're the people I want leading me
