Sent off for Carlisle yesterday whilst playing against Luke Berry's Cambridge. Didn't we sign both of them at the same time as Hourihane? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I thought he looked pretty tidy too. Was often forced to play wide due to other players and it didn't suit him. When playing through the middle he looked ok. Would have been interesting to see how he developed.
Berry is the main man at Cambridge, which is obviously his level. I didn't mind Bailey to be honest, I think the position he played in put him under a lot of pressure, and he himself said he wasn't a defensive midfielder. He had one of the worst games I've ever seen at Preston though. Absolute shocker! Funny how it turns out. Bailey was played at the back of a diamond, Hourihane and Berry both brought in as attacking options. Hourihane turns out to be a far better player when dropping deep. Berry wasn't bad but to be honest if your wanting to get promoted out of league one you don't want neither in your squad. Mary berry could tackle harder.
I didn't rate like berry personally but his release was bizarre. He was out of the squad for a long and then given a chance at the end f the season and he was excellent when given that chance only to be released. It was the same with the young striker who's name escapes me. He was given a chance in the final game and was excellent only to be released straight away.
