    He's now 32 years old. As we know Simon Grayson had him on loan at Preston North End
    and he's offered him a three year contract with Sunderland.

    The fee is undisclosed so it looks like they've taken a stab at assessing the fee at circa £238k.
    Spartak Moscow signed him for £9.5 million from Celtic in 2010 and he joined Everton in 2014 for
    an undisclosed fee.

    Everton will probably just be satisfied to get him off the payroll so they've let him go for a nominal fee.

    I also dont understand why so many fans are demanding that players have a resale value. For me thats not the main priority when we sign somebody.
    Its worrying that Hecky is saying as many as 6 players are still needed, and the new season starts in just 20 days.
