They've made signings like that for the past few years and 95% have turned out dog sh*t. Glad we don't make signings like that anymore.
I'd take a gamble on James Vaughen from Bury.Back to fitness after a bad injury.20 odd goals last season, still only 28.I think he would be a great squad player and he'd jump at the chance to show his worth again in the Championship.
If I was a bury fan I would be worried he was on some right coin at pne. Living beyond their means can only last so long.
Horrible attitude that played a part in Huddersfield saying he'd be released at the end of his contract when it was only like October time. Been told off a few people that Dean Hoyle mentioned it at a fan meeting. Basically when Wagner came in he wanted training to be afternoon and evening like games are. He quite rightly didn't understand why football teams have morning training when matches never happen in the morning. Vaughan didn't like this and his agent rang the owner to say so as he didn't like getting stuck in motorway rush hour traffic when he'd usually have finished training hours earlier. This didn't go down well at all.
Jermaine Beckford has made a career out of scoring 20 goals for Leeds once. He's a mediocre journeyman who probably won't break double figures in starts next season, nevermind goals. See Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
