had it suggested it is a decent weekend break for me and the missus. Anyone been? have i just been told a load of crap?
Very nice place Very clean
St Helier is a good night out.
Find the blue note bar..Top Hangover real ale and nice tunes.

Been a few times. St Helier's not bad but try and get around the island if you can. There are some excellent pubs on the North Coast if you can hire a car for the day and St Ouen's Bay is great.
Really nice place - good restaurants and pubs - definitely a great place for a weekend - wouldn't be a place for me for longer than that though would definitely recommend it - also Guernsey - but it's expensive to go between the two I go with work a lot but managed to get over to stay in St Helier for four days this summer and really enjoyed it. Hire a car you can see the island in a morning if you wanted! Going to try and get out there again this summer if I can squeeze it in around the World Cup!
RE: liv red, bright red and red c - cheers! Been loads of times, brilliant place you'll have a blast but do try to get around if you can as there are some lovely places to see and the island isnt that big so you can do it quite easy. The german underground hospital is a bit of an eyeopener if you are in to history. Just watch the roads as they are a bit narrow in places. Cheers BT
just back.sales on at moment 70 per cent off. flights cheap from donny with thompsonfly.com. would reccomend pomme d,or hotel who have a 3 nights for 2 offer at moment. very quiet on a sunday though,no shops open. old fashioned pub hours, but plenty of nightclubs and the hotel bar stayed open all night. regards. We've been to Jersey for our main holiday for the last 5 years and already have this year's booked! Recommend it to anyone. Something for all ages and tastes. Let me know if you want to know anything specific.
that's where we stay - the Pomme D'Or - really nice hotel - great location too the restaurant is good as well - they even went out and bought some veggie stuff for me at the start of our break so I could have them brought to me on a platter at breakfast (bit embarrassing really) but definitely one of the better hotels reasonably priced on Jersey - there are better but the prices are a bit steep
