Is he injured or just out of favour? Seemed to play well in early pre-season games but gone missing since.
I think all of our lads will be super fit, but Danny will know who he expects to be part of his match days squads. For that reason and due to limited timeframe he's picking those who will feature. Brown and Dougall are getting back to fitness, Green, Bird and Victor are all loan candidates unless they show otherwise in training. These are cracking headaches to have though.
Guess this might be the case but seems odd that we are at least giving some game time to Victor and Miller and green has been nowhere to be seen. Even stranger when young lads like marsh are getting minutes. Saw an interview with Stendel right at the beginning of pre season suggesting green might have a bigger role this season. Maybe that's changed.
I think Miller may stay with us to develop, he looks sharp and gives us options. He's not a small lad, just needs to hit the weights. He's Woodrow' s understudy from what I've seen of him. Green needs time to develop his work tracking back and his final ball need work. I like him him he reminds me of Tony Daly.
I have the feeling that Green is frustrating Daniel somewhat as he thinks him well capable of doing what he wants, but hes not yet doing it consistently.
Think that may well be the situation. A shame as he clearly has potential but looks a bit hesitant at times on the ball. Not sure I've noticed a lack of effort in closing down/tracking back myself though.
