To be honest Nick Townsend wouldn’t have made those mistakes tonight, absolutely shocking, what’s worse however is that at the end of the match no Liverpool player went to console him, only Real players, typical scouse class.
The liverpool have no defence line is a myth. Look at the stats since van dijk signed. Also as bad as they were the karius errors didn't really cause the loss. Liverpool got back to 1-1. The bale worldie killed the game off. Liverpool didn't really look threatening after that.
That keeping has cost his team a chance to win a medal. Fair enough if he made one costly howler, but to make two I don't blame them keeping (pardon the pun) away from him. I'm sure later they will but sometimes it's worse to talk straight away. They probably want to cool down first so they don't risk making a situation.
Couldn’t hope for a more inspirational leader than Klopp. I just put it down to bad luck and I’m sure his time will come
Tonight summed up Liverpool's goalkeeping issue. Karius = loss Mignolet = extra time De Gea = victory. I think Klopp is brilliant & will win Champions League in the next couple of years but his view on goalkeeper this last year is his most obvious regret. Not really a criticism... Nobody is perfect
Very strange thread. His net spend compared to the other big clubs is incredible. Great football to watch. Done by refereeing and keeping decisions tonight. Jose morais isnt fit to wipe his ****
not a great record but he has managed the underdog in every one of them, and half of them his team were probably not expected to reach the final anyway, but yeah these things start to build and reoccur, you end up giving off doubt to your players in your body language without even realising
If you gave a choice of games to watch in the premiership I'd pick Klopps Liverpool then City. Most exciting team to watch when they get it right.
