50 million pounds gets you a fast player who can’t cross a ball or can’t defend... so how much do you need to spend to get a good full back who is fast, can cross a ball and defend? They could have bought Kieran Tripper back for £25 million. He’s much better
Didn’t watch last night so I’m presuming he had an off night. If you’d posted this 3 years ago I’d probably agree but he’s come on loads since then. Pochettino & Guardiola added lots to his game, he can cross a ball & he’s improved his positioning a lot as he used to just rely on his pace getting him out of danger
Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander Arnold have been selected as full backs in the 23 man England squad for the Nations League Finals. Unfortunately, Kiernan Trippier has been dropped.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could be a fixture at right back or right wing-back for ten years if he keeps fit and on form. A real talent and so young too. Keiran Trippier had a sensational World Cup but by his own admission has had a pretty average season at Spurs, I can't disagree with him dropping out.
Kyle Walker is absolute quality. A pity about Trippier. I expected him to be an England fixture for the foreseeable future. Hopefully he'll be able to fight his way back into the squad.
