was on the special for 82 FA cup at Ayresome Park, why did Mike Lester not put that one in. Great atmosphere but dangerous as F@@k. Still lost 2-1

Been since, but I was there. Haven't been since they moved away from Ayresome Park though. Last time I went was Wilson's first season in charge. Twice. 1-1 in April and the infamous white pumps frozen pitch fiasco that was called off at half time. Ridiculous it ever went ahead, I've seen skating rinks with less ice.

Last time was the great escape in 1990, Mark smith scored the winner and John Dennis nearly got arrested at the end after coming over to our fans in the corner. Was a bit hostile!

There were some unbelievable wins on the road in the last few months of that season: 2-1 at Bumhole Lane, 2-1 at Bellend Road and 1-0 at Ayresome Park.
