....except Forest couldn't finish a couple more times.

Thanks be to Davies in particular - some wonderful saves.

Once again Hammill was excellent, though the whole team all run out of puff after an hour. Not surprising that they can't press all game long though.

    Jackson was better.

But we relied upon Forest missing chance after chance, especially in the second half.

Alamo mode. Excruciating and riveting. Great game to watch.

I agree with that - we might have had someone to run at them.

Bradshaw made their centre half look slow on the turn in the first half, so Ugbo might have done summat.

I thought Bradshaw's hold up play was again lacking tonight, and his layoffs were often misplaced, putting us in trouble. Contrasting him with their no.9 who could hold it, resist the centre half's challenge, lay it off and score as well, was basically the difference between us and them.

And will be why we struggle to compete.

Sod having a zillion midfielders - splash out for a class striker.

Of the three, I actually thought Forest were the best we've played. We were poor and inept at Bristol and dominated by their forwards but I didn't see them having much else. We were on top of Ipswich and should have been out of sight before their comeback. Funny old game.........
