What, expecting them to pay another £25, having already paid over £50 for the original one? They could do it for nowt out of the £0.5 they saved on his wages.

 

They have enough shirts to give out seconds? We can't even manage firsts!

 

I dare say that they are at least breaking even at £25 per shirt !

I'd have liked their stance even more had they told him that every week he refused to play he'd be training on his own and be fined a weeks wages. At some point a club must take a strong stance with these players.
