Magnificent result today and by all accounts well deserved. I notice ,apart from the inclusion of Williams at left back that Liam Lindsay made a return and,hey ho, clean sheet. Coincidence or not I wonder??

I think most teams in league one would love to have either Liam Lindsay or Adam Jackson in their defence. Comfortable with either in the side, I’d probably favour Lindsay just now.

Ethan Pinnock is better than both I think too. We’re looking ok in that position, could do with one more for cover I reckon.

I’ve always been a fan of Lindsay, even last season. I agree with the above, the 3 that we have are good enough for anyone in this division.

Maybe we’ll sign a young one in January as further cover.

    I like Jackson

Prefer Lindsay though as he’s a better passer.

Glad that we've got both (and Pinnock), will need at least three to get through a 50+ game season.

I like all 3 of them, and believe they will contribute throughout to our season of success. I don't know if we have any young centre halves ready to come through ,from the U23s.

Lindsay by some way. We look more composed and better organised with him in the team.

Nothing against Lindsay but I prefer Jackson, but all three are comfortable at this level . I like Jackson in the team as he is a right footer whilst the other two are left footed & when he plays with either, we look more balanced

Jackson by a country mile. Lindsay is so overrated and one we have to move on at the end of the season imo.

    All of them.
We have three excellent centre backs.
They are NOT competing against each other, as the initial post and the following thread is suggesting, they are competing against the opposition.
Any 2 would do a good job.

I'd probley pick Lindsay over Jackson seems to have a good understanding with pinnock who I think is our best center half. They are both good enough for this level mind and I do think Lindsay is a little over rated by many on here.

Pinnock has started the season well ,good athlete but a bit quiet needs to improve communication and organisation that's a big part of being a CB

This is a wind up, right?

On the OP, I don’t think there’s a lot between them. Played very well yesterday.

Our centre backs must be the envy of the division, they will all get their fair share of games for one reason or another

7 goals conceded in 11 games speaks volumes. Pinnock plus either one of the other 2.

Lindsay has better physicality that either Pinnock or Jackson, who were both bullied midweek. I'd like to see Lindsay + 1 as our centre half pairing. I'm not always convinced about Pinnock, I certainly can't fathom the plaudits he gets on here, but he seems to be the man as far as the coach is concerned and he's much better at his job than I would be.

Our whole team is currently the envy of the majority of most Peterborough fans.

Jackson will be gone for nothing at the end of the season. He's not going to sign a new contract to bench warm. If we aren't going to be playing him, he will look elsewhere for a club. He would have been fully justified to be annoyed at being dropped after one game, when he did nothing wrong against Plymouth.

Is this some sort of wind up . Have a look at the stats, Lindsey's influence and communication is key
