Prefer them to Manyoo but still plastic. Its cringeworthy when you see a 47 year old bloke out in Darfield still sporting a 2008 LFC training jersey.
They’ve won one thing and acted like we’re in a decade of Liverpool dominance. This is based on lots of Liverpool fans I know including 2 separate season ticket holders that don’t know each other.
Mine's based on living here and working with them on a day to day basis. Most Liverpool fans are cautious about the league- seen it happen before to get carried away - as for Europe wouldn't most fans be the same especially considering the league run they are on
When Peter Crouch was on Match of the Day recently he praised Liverpool fans and said that none of the ones he knows are taking anything for granted, particularly as City over turned the points deficit to win the league when Liverpool were way ahead last time round. Having said that, I think the circumstances are different now and in truth, if they are able to avoid serious injuries, I can't honestly see Liverpool losing three or four games between now and the end of the season. For me, the title is theirs to lose.
My point exactly- they are also aware that serious injuries to one or more of those key players and they don't have the depth of squad city have
I love that saying "it's theirs to lose" because invariably it builds pressure on the front runner. It's what people in the rear say to creep up under the radar and remain an underdog. Very difficult to pull of when you're 11 points clear.
I hate all the condescending sh1tes that support Premier League clubs when we're doing so badly. I love them in all in equal measure when we're doing well.
Have to agree with this, like you I have a lot of ex work colleagues and personal friends from Liverpool. Really warm friendly and very funny people. Never really thought about it before but the work colleagues were all Everton fans and my personal friends are Liverpool(none of them live in Liverpool).
F*ck off you rat. Imagine either seriously holding that opinion or using it as a topic to wind people up on? Brain dead moron.
The big shopping Mall in the city centre is called "Liverpool one". Everton have two club shops, one at Goodison and one in the mall called "Everton 2". So the address of the latter is Everton 2 Liverpool 1. Is this a good example of scouse humour?
