Wouldn't want to sell him on to a fellow relegation battler, let alone a position that we have loads of injuries in
I think that we’re making a monumental error unless Pinnock’s injury isn’t as significant as initially thought and unless Jackson’s setback is only minor in nature. I honestly believe that there’s more to this entire MacDonald saga than meets the eye.
A very minor issue but possibly significant - his captains article in the programme has been quietly dropped from the last 2 or 3 issues. I too think theres more going on with him than weve been told. Hope the lad is ok and if he does need to move on for whatever reason I wish him well.
I just hope that he isn’t sat at home reading some of the utter dross that’s being written about him this evening.
He's a cracking player who's had a hard time. If he leaves then I'd be sad to see him go, he always gave 100% and on his day he is top class. Top top top lad.
I hope any footballer is taught to ignore most of what us idiots post! But agree - some of the posts are beyond bizarre. Cracking player, great bloke, and if he goes Good luck to him. But after this season, as Hull are one of the 3 I think will go down. Sinking ship.
Some of it is just downright nasty and there’s absolutely no need for it. What goes through a contributor’s head when they post that sort of thing is completely beyond me, it beggars belief at times. I really did hope that he could knuckle down, win his place back and start to perform as we all know he can. But, having said that, if it’s a fresh start that he needs or wants then good luck to him.
Our fully fit central defence is probably the strongest area of our squad. However, as we all know, we don’t have them all fully fit at the minute. I wouldn’t sell. But, if he wants the move then good luck to him. I still hope he stays though and gets back to the form he showed last season.
I hope he stays and fights for his place , I thought he was a great choice for captain before the season started , love to see him get back get back in the side and help us to safety
There's no doubt about it he's a very good player and having met him on a number of occasions, he's a very good bloke. So it's all a bit of a mystery to me. If he had health problems, I doubt Hull would be prepared such a big fee and selling to one of our main rivals in the table, doesn't make much sense. I guess there must be a back story none of us is aware of. If he is going and reading this, all the best AMac.
I’ll be very sorry to see him go. He is a solid player and a good and responsible member of the team. I hoped for him to become the next Mawson. If he does go then best of luck to him.
I’ve just seen on Twitter that someone reported MacDonald to the club for an off field matter a few weeks ago. Another post by the same individual in reponse to a Hull account references MacDonald being “up to no good” off the pitch. This is all rather bizarre.
I can remember that tweet at the time. All seemed rather odd that the individual would report it to the club though. If it was so serious you wouldn't really think the best way about reporting someone would be via twitter to their employee. All a bit bizarre.
