I'm just saying it's strange that players are encouraged to take everything they can, while supporters who take nothing are frowned upon if they have to suggest their club should spend a bit of money.

Not really mate. I think it's ridiculous the amount of money paid out to footballers. And I frown upon anyone expecting us to match the contract offers of Villa, Norwich, Wednesday et al.

Not entirely sure who 'they' are in your last comment. But as you're probably aware, the stadium is undergoing remedial work at present and it's something that's been flagged up, so fingers crossed eh?

Nobody is forced to follow any career, its the individuals choice, but what ever we choose is necessary, as we all need to work, however, hobby"s & pastimes are up to the individual & unlike work, if you dont like watching football , you dont have to.

 

By that token, if you don't like playing football you don't have to.

As I say, it just seems strange that supporters are criticised for suggesting what their club should give to players, but the players are encourage to make demands of the club. The supporter's intentions are honest and they only give, the players not so much.

 

He has had it on 2 separate threads as I can't be arsed. It wasn't an argument I was just stating that the 3 that went in january aren't the 1st to jump ship for more money and won't be last simple.

 

You do have to play football if it is your living, not all footballers can follow other careers as they are not achademicaly qualified & I believe that it is only a minute few what actually reap the riches. Having said that, I do believe that the very cream are rewarded with wealth that reaches obscene proportions which is hard for such as ourselves to understand.

 

It's a silly thing for Mallan to say having just signed for us, but we all know it's the reality.

I may have an event I'm promoting next year for charity I could do with a leg up with....
