    That's right. Sounds very much as though we've got him. Should be announced Thursday/Friday hopefully.
    Comments being made on Rohan Ince and the fact that due to the fact Wolves and Ipswich are also interested and
    can pay more in wages we could well miss out on his signature.
    Story of our lives for as many years as I can remember sadly but it is what it is.!
    In Hecky we trust. Come on you Reds let's prove the pundits wrong again next season.

    Don't get why Mallan is dragging. Originally said 72 hours which means it should have been announced yesterday at latest. Now it might take another few days.

    Where have Barnsley fc made a statement saying completion within 72 hrs ? I am sure that when a deal has been completed, it will be announced through a club press release. Of course, unless we sign players immediatley, then it will be open season from the critics.

    Have you been to Scotland?

    It is a wonderful country.

    Some centrally industrial areas are challenging, but if you have a beauty contest between Barnsley and Scotland, then you're comparing a lump of coal with Nicola Sturgeon.

    And that's Krankie.

    Go on the Road To The Isles. Barnsley is not quite as well endowed, scenically. And there's thousands of acres of undisturbed countryside to please. Weather is usually grim though.

    Remember your whisky, Blue Nile, shortbread, Glasvegas, golf courses, Deacon Blue, Ronnie Glavin.

    Think of Sheena Easton and Clare Grogan (I had a photo of her in my office).

    To summarize, Scotland would be where you always went on holiday, if it wasn't so cold and full of Scots.

    I get where you're coming from. It's the same for Wales. It's one of the best places I've ever been, and I've been about, but the rain and cold weather stops both from being as special as they could be.

    I loved Monte Carlo but if it had been pissing it down it probably would have seemed shitter.

    Owen Archdeacon. What's not to love?
