    Lee...

Just cracked a couple of that mellow gold and Smokey black.

    Oh yes.

May struggle to get up in the morning.

    Very nice :)

Yeah. Started Monday so just had the first week.

A tad more relaxed to what I'm used to and no scrabbling for resources. Which may take some getting used to haha.

    Seems promising so far.

Hope WS is Ok? Oh and Boyce :)

Good to hear, it will be a shock to actually have resource. Let me know what it's like.

Boycie is good. WS has become a bit of a disaster but it's all of their own making. I'll be lucky if I can close it by Xmas.

Oooofff. Bugger. It wasn't supposed to be that big a change. A couple of extra fields (granted slightly different to how we expected, but just an extra call). What they done completely changed everything?

Give me a ring tomorrow some time if you need additional backround. Sounds like the 2 out of 9 days might be somehow buggered..... again

1: No dial in so Dev work can't be implemented. Chased and chased but still no document.

2: Home button issue needs quote (CBL and export). AH work so happy to quote.

3: Wrong code configured in live SAP so want change. AH work so happy to quote.

They just don't understand urgency. Not big jobs but nothing is easy with WAS.

    Kinell fire.

That doc has been registered as a risk for about 3 month and raised every week ffs lol.

Home button. Well.... no comms from dev and zip.... have to look at alternative.

Codes on SAP. That's a new one.

CC THEM for another 10 at least.

As an aside. Dev was supposed to develop against the original webservice. So we didn't need dial in until SE's needed actual install into test on the proxy... So in essence the dial in doc wasn't needed until N.A. was due to install on test. Has that changed?

That's exactly it. SG finished as scheduled and NA was primed and ready to do his work but despite daily chasing they didn't get the doc back so I had to release NA. There is one day they will be charged for because I didn't release NA until 14:00 on the day to give them every possible chance to get the signed doc back.

Something tells me that they can't guarantee that the security side has already been put in place. Or someone doesn't fancy putting there name on it for fear of it biting them on the arse later...

To think as well I think they are putting in an order for a load of new stuff and upgrade. Which can't even start until this has been completed. Glad to hear SG got his bit done though. At least it's a bit closer lol

I should have caveated that by saying that SG completed his work based on a few assumptions. He emailed their techie guy who didn't respond for over two days despite being chased and then went on two weeks leave. All very typical of WS, I'm sure you're not too surprised.

Not at all surprised to hear it. Which is why I put in the plan and had it highlighted in bright yellow that during SGs dev time that they should be available for queries and support. Obviously ignored. Gives you the opp to add a few more AH days if testing reveals it needs changing. You could always refer back to all that.

I probably naively thought they were getting to grips with it all. Internal politics might be at play as well. This was an order direct from them rather than through our "colleagues".

Don't volunteer for the new order later either. That will be a time consumer :)

I'm staying well clear of the new project unless DH dictates otherwise. :)
