Absolute legend. When he came to us, he could have seen us as a final pay check. Phoned it in like so many before and after him. (Just ‘recently’ Lita, Treacy, O’Connor (when not on loan), Mido etc) But he gave his absolute all every game, along with Jason Scotland. Knew his limits, played to his strengths. Without those 2, along with players like Rory Delap, we wouldn’t have been close to staying up in the great escape season. That’s how you use experience. But I don’t know how you guarantee someone like Harewood, over someone like Lita.
