I've noticed they've become a thing, usually with some pretty horrific results. However, it did remind me of when I was at Warwick Uni 30 years ago.
Our Sports society players (hockey, football, rugby, netball etc) were able to buy a unique shirt which was a mash up of the main Warwick colours - red, white and black. They were made into a long sleeve rugby style shirt, all of the same collared design. They were made from offcuts of other shirts, in thick cotton, but the quality was fantastic. Never saw two the same. Block colours mixed with striped sleeves; hooped blocks with plain sleeves, etc. All in the same template, but all different. All were embroidered with the logo.

Wonder if that company is still going. I reckon we paid around £20 back then for them. They lasted for ages, and were a real talking point. In an age of recycling, I wonder how hard this would be?
