Another goal for him to move his club into automatic promotion. Looking like a good move for him.

Can't open the link, but re Pearson. Football is weird like that. Neither him nor Elliott Lee could hold down a place for us, and yet they're playing for Luton who are flying.

Wouldn't swap any of our 3 centre halves for Pearson.

His attitude could never be questioned, gives 100% every game and that’s what fans love in a player. Not Championship standard but a good league 1 old fashioned centre half.
In a side that is flying I can see why he’s popular.

Possibly not, but I'd have him in at fullback tomorrow. I liked him - a proper no-nonsense defender, who knew how to tackle and had decent positional sense.

Full back is last place I'd have him. He's a centre half all day for me. Very committed player but not very quick.

Would walk into this team at full back. With Jason maccarthy as well thrown into the mix we've given 2 possible promotion contenders better full backs than we currently have.

Pearson got scapegoated last season by a lot of fans. There was clearly a good footballer there.

If you're standing in the right place, you don't need to be quick. ;)

Can imagine Pearson would look loads better at this level, a lot less pace & movement to deal with, he’ll never struggle aerially

He was great. 100% work rate, solid defensively. Becky did him no favours starting him at left back against pacey championship sides.

Would take him at RB over Cavare or McCarthy

He pretty much had to play at left back. Yiadom knackered shoulder & Fryers injured meant we’d no one else for a couple of months. Pinillos then joined in Jan.

Pearson is a decent player. He isn't as good as our 3 CB's though & wasn't ready for the championship when he came to us.
