8 players? But much we lost 3 players but needed to replace them with 8? No thanks I'd rather have quality over quantity.
So Players and replacements Morsey - replaced by James Bree - replaced by Jones Hourihane - I think was planned to be replaced by Moncur - but didnt work so replaced with Mowatt Winnall - replaced up front by Bradshaw Additional Hedges and Elder, also we effectively have Williams as a new player We are maybe missing 2 additional players in an ideal world but where do you get 8 missing from?
Going into the window majority of people including Heckingbottom agreed we needed a striker, two central midfielders, and a left back, then we lost 5 players so yeah I'd say we needed 8,
Yes but a name for a name is not a replacement is it If they'd signed me up and I'd said I'd play in midfield with your logic Conor's boots are filled.
I'm fairly sure if we still had Winnall we wouldn't need another striker. We may have needed 1 extra central midfielder so losing 2 signing 2 still leaves us 1 short granted. We needed a left back, and we signed 2 players who can play there, plus the breakthrough of Evans who looks easily good enough And who are the 5 players we lost? Winnall Morsy Bree Hourihane ??? Are you counting Yiadom?? He'll be back next week...
We brought in 5 and we're maybe missing 2 additional players so that's 7 that's not a million miles away from 8 is it pal ?
It just means an opportunity for Callum Evans and other youngsters. And when has that been such a bad thing this past few years?
We did not need a striker when we had Winnall, Bradshaw, Armstrong, Payne and Watkins We do now, and it's something we'll have to sort in the summer. But hopefully Bradshaw, Armstrong, Watkins and Hedges along hopefully with Brown will be good enough, and I think they can be
By sounds of hedges interview he said he is a winger and that's his best/favourite position. Listening to Marley's he thinks he is a striker and would score 20 goals in this league. I think we will see Marley, bradshaw, armstrong and brown as the strikers for rest of the season. We could have done with another striker but if we were unable to bring one in which improves the squad I'd rather we just waited until the summer. Think we dodged a bullet with bogle.
What would he do if an emergency cropped up at one of his many other time consuming organisations! Sorry but I don't like the idea of a part time chairman. I also think it's possible poor to just refuse to tell the stakeholders of the club why the CEO left.
It's like reading a nonsense rhyme. If we haven't suffered from not having a CEO, why do we need one?
