Wayne Biggins. Scored on his debut away somewhere then a brace at home against Luton, second was a cheeky backheel from 4 yards!

The slightly older ones may remember Tony Cunningham

If I remember correctly he got a hat trick in a 4-3 win scoring the winner in a great come back - not even sure if we came back from 3-0 down but I think I may be imagining that - might have been against Luton

    Didnt keep it up unfortunately

    Luke Steele my favourite though

    No he didn't

Cunningham scored the winner in the 4-3 win over Fulham October 1982, but it wasn't his debut. He didn't score again at Oakwell until the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, January 1983.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons

Carl Regan. Red card about 20 mins in for a 2 footed tackle if I remember correctly.

You sure it wasnt his Debut?

Was it his home debut then - or am I just completely confused.

Did he get a hat trick or just the winner

Did we come back from 3-0 down

Anyone got a match report to put me out of my misery

Then another red card when he came back from suspension if memory serves me correctly.

    He made his debut

The previous week in the 2-1 victory at Newcastle United. He only scored the final goal in the Fulham match. We were 3-0 after about 10 minutes, before fighting back.

    From memory

It was against Fulham. Yes we were 3-0 down. Yes we won 4-3. Yes Cunningham got the winner. A towering header, as good as you'll ever see. No he didn't get a hattrick, that was his only goal of the game. I don't know about it being his debut or not. I thought it was but I'm unsure.

Having said all that, it was an awful long time ago.

RE: I though it was his Debut

We were 3-0 down after about 10 mins. Lewington & Houghton played for Fulham. Banks got one back before half time I think.
Think Glavin (?) may have got one and then there was a goal that was half Cunningham, half another player (maybe Geddis?). Cunningham got the winner though. Was only about 12/13 at the time, but it was an amazing comeback.
