    Can't we hijack the bid from Derby and make a better one for him if we were willing to pay 400k for an unproven striker then surely we can afford it for one who knows where the goals are!

    So many strikers moving clubs that could do a job for us and nothing is being done.

    The club never announces signings...

    Until they happen. So to say nothing is being done, just because we haven't signed anyone yet, is ridiculous. Unless you've spoken to someone with 'insider knowledge'.

    The deal to Bristol City fell through because Gary Johnson said he isn't interested in playing football, just improving his wage. Some of my friends and family are Coventry City fans and they all want to get shut of him. He's lazy, bad for morale, doesn't score many and is a poor trainer. Add to that he is on a decent wage and you can see why Bristol City turned him down. He's just got a good profile because he score goals in televised games and looks dangerous. Odejayi LOOKS dangerous because he creates chances for himself...but does he score them? NO!
