    I think that given the chance he'll do a good job for them. Things didn't end well here for him but he was mostly the assistant manager and his record elsewhere is very good.

    Former player Alan Tate is apparently also in the running. Is that him that had his
    spot kick saved by Nick Colgan when we played the Swans in the play off final at
    the Millenium Stadium.?

    He started his career at Manchester United and still keeps in touch with Sir Alex
    who is said to be supporting his application.

    I think Mickey Mellons record is really quite good. He can count himself pretty unlucky he didn't get the Barnsley job
