I'd be really pleased for him were he to be The Arabs' new manager. For me, he was a major part of our 2013 Great Escape. After he left, he's always been respectful and full of praise for us. https://www.skysports.com/football/...l-of-appointing-tranmere-boss-within-48-hours
I'd have been quite happy had we appointed him at any stage when we've needed a new manager/head coach, old mate.
Agreed, I like him too and believe he should have been given more of a chance with us. Best of luck to him if he gets it.
Just thinking mate what with his connection it would be interesting if he was to arrange a friendly at some point.
Yeah, away though, Imagine Ian treating us all to pre match drinks and showing us around his home town. I suppose we’ll have to continue to imagine though.
I was actually thinking of a game at Oakwell. I’ve never been in the away end. Of course a home and away challenge would be the answer.
Congratulations to Micky Mellon and to Dundee United on what I suspect will be a very shrewd appointment. I just wish he'd been given a fairer crack of the whip here.
Nice. I like this. When I was younger, we all had our favourite Scottish team. Most went for Celtic, I didnt I was with Dundee utd. Always look out for results to this day, and will even more so that MM is manager
Wasn't he sacked here for being too lenient on the players when we got battered away at Watford. I heard Wilson thought what he said to the players undermined him and got rid.
That was a load of rubbish. Pathetic gossip from the modern day versions of Cissie and Ada. https://www.shropshirestar.com/spor...old-friends-reunite-as-boss-searches-for-win/
