Like their description of our w*nker contingent

"This so-called Barnsley mob go to a Wetherspoons, take some pictures and videos & post them on social media pre game.

They then start pushing normal fans around on a platform post match.

They were wearing lots of Stone Island - isn't that a bit naff these days?

It seemed like a load of hot air and waste of time. They were more tragic than intimidating. You could see normal people looking at them like you would some mental old wino you hoped didn't sit next you on a bus"

    and..

"It just seemed to me that Leeds and now Barnsley had no intention of actually fighting anyone.

But instead, they just seemed interested in acting in as obnoxious and as anti-social way as possible. They looked like the absolute dregs of society & non-football fans were just looking at them like you would at animals in the zoo"

Whatever our thoughts are about Millwall fans, to be fair I thought that was a pretty accurate description of our more moronic element.

    Reason we beat them...

Let's be fair here too - sounds like Barnsley played their best game of the season yesterday.

You have got to remember these teams from small provincial northern towns get very excited about playing in the capital. As their team approached The Den and their players saw the Shard & Canary Wharf peering over the skyline and then saw signs for the South Bank, London Eye, Tate Modern, Globe etc., places they can only dream of, well, that is pretty much their team talk done for them. They want to stick it to these sophisticated and glamorous Londoners.

Then they see The Den. One of the most famous football stadiums in the world. In the warm-up they must be thinking this is home to the pioneers of professional football in the south, the mighty Lions. We need to show them that we are no pushovers.

This was very much a Cup Final for Barnsley and their fans. You could see that by the way both players and fans celebrated the goals, the unlikely & amazing win in the heart of the greatest city on the planet.

Let's not be too hard on our players, they will sometimes have an off day & of course a team playing out of their skins will sometimes be able to take advantage “

Its a rather elaborate and long winded send up. See, they do have a sense of humour after all ;)

Also the constant threads on poverty and property prices etc. If they've got so much money, then how come they can't fund a team that can stop losing against us :D

They seem to really have a chip on their shoulders about us don't they haha. Not sure if it's that we're a bigger club, always had a better team or the fact they can never seem to beat us? Maybe the fact we aren't scruffy lovely people from the most depressing, dull part of one of the biggest cities in the world? You know how that song goes at the beginning of Power 'They say this is a big rich town. I just come from the poorest part'. I too would be massively pissed off if I came from that part of the word, scruffy *****.

    It's facking Miwwoww.

Take away the behaviour and you've got a sarf landan Walsall. Never done owt and never will.

Let's face it, if not for their behaviour they'd be as relevant as Northampton Town to us.

You see the sights of London then you have to see the sights of Bermondsey. Bit of difference.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they're being sarcastic/ironic. At least, I hope for their sakes they are. No one could be that lacking in self-awareness...could they?

It's all the same ***** they spouted the other season, like a broken record. Every village town or city no matter how wel to do has its rough parts, that's them they are from the arse end of London. Half of them probably never even seen the sights of London as the scruffy smelly feckers wont be able to afford it. That's why their away support is pathetic, The mighty Millwall with all their cash bring about 150 fans to Oakwell. If it wasn't for all the trouble the have caused in the past it wouldn't be no one likes them it would be no ones heard of them

Like being from Gipton and saying your posh because your from Leeds lol

With all this stuff being posted - and after some of their lads charged a few Barnsley fans and families at Wembley - then the Millwall match at TARN is going to be interesting.
I would be really surprised if the police let any Millwall fans anywhere near the town centre.
As per - when there's this much interest - I can see the number of police on duty being bigger than the number of away fans.

Turned up at rotherham a few seasons back in large numbers. Went for the family stand and ran riot in town center after. I remember rotherham fans ringing p+g after on about it.

They probably do what our lot do, which is pick out certain games to turn out. On Saturday I saw a few faces that don't normally turn out for aways.
