I'd forgotten that season ticket holders can bring a friend for a fiver. There's too many 'ifs' and 'buts' with this sort of offer for many to take advantage. You have to not only know another season ticket holder, but know one well enough for them to go to that amount of trouble for you. I've asked friends before, but to keep doing so, I worry they might think I'm just using them.
"You have to not only know another season ticket holder, but know one well enough for them to go to that amount of trouble for you".
Mate of mine will be coming if he isn't working. Find out later today, I'll happily print him off a ticket.
It isn't just me I'm talking about. I'm sure there's quite a few people who don't know a season ticket holder.
I'm a season-ticket holder, and anyone on here who wants a cheap ticket for Saturday can have one. I'll meet anyone outside the ground beforehand. Whatever. It's hardly a massive inconvenience.
What do you want the club to do then ? I’m struggling to see why the club are to blame because someone doesn’t know a season ticket holder. I’ll be very surprised if many people have this problem The offer has been on for sometime now and your the first person to mention this issue
The deal is exclusive rather than fully inclusive. If the club wants to put as many bums on seats as possible it should be £5 to anyone, not friends of.
The club haven't mentioned the offer for ages until today. They don't exactly shout things from the rooftops.
Don't have to these days if it's on Twitter/Facebook. Reaches more household's than any other marketing idea would
Was all over Facebook before the kick off time was changed. Did you want them to drive round the estates with a mega phone?
Leeds are offering a bring a friend for free on their Good Friday match. Trying to tempt a few armchair supporters away from their Sky remotes.
Ffs some folk ! Just don’t bother going then it’s simple . Or alternatively you could stop moaning and support a club initiative to try and get a few extra folk through the turnstiles .
Ok then. Get me one please. I've just been at Morrison's. It was full of offers but I didn't see one which required the help of another shopper.
The kick off time was changed on 27 February. Like I said, they haven't mentioned it "for ages" until the post I've seen today (which I think was actually put on yesterday).
