HOWEVER, in my imaginary world I would bring these scum to "justice", whatever that means in their world.
In your world it appears that you would probably send them on an restorative holiday to the Maldives or somewhere nice to learn the errors of their ways, to explain to but them that it is really not on to destroy other peoples property but if they say sorry and pretty please don't touch me, not that anyone can these days, then they might not do it again. Fat chance.

Again my stance is that it's a sad and pointless act of vandalism that I don't condone but I equally don't condone people with no perspective wanting people convicted of vandalism to be physically harmed or be called "sub human scum". In the nazi graphic novel "Maus" Art Spiegelman represented Jews as Mice and Polish people as pigs in order to dehumanise them as well as in several panels describing the animals being represented as being insulted due to the people being "not even animals". It was also common practice among SS guards to think of Jews as less than human and below even animals. Condescend to me all you want I will not think talking about human beings like this is acceptable
