The situation with players and staff is no different now than it has been throughout the whole of the time that I have been watching. We cannot afford to pay them what other clubs can. As a result, they move on. Trading has always been the way that the club tries to balance the books and it always will be. I do not support the individuals that play for or staff that manage my football club. I support the football club. Whatever is best for the long term success and viability of the club is OK by me. I do not expect my club to play in the Premier League. How can I when we have played there for just 1 season in 130. Someone said the other day that we are the most successful 2nd tier club. I do not agree. I think that we are the most unsuccessful 2nd tier club because we have had more attempts at promotion to the top tier than any other club, and have been successful just the once. If you wanted to watch Premiership football, you are supporting the wrong team.
