I've been hoping McGeehan would come good and he still might but he keeps not taking chances to stake his claim. Potts was missed. Bahre looked very promising though.
Mcgheen almost gifted them a goal in first half he was a passenger again. Hope he comes good but starting to look bleak.
Agreed. Missed Dougall breaking play up (would’ve probably been in the right place for their goal) and massively missed Potts and his drives forward with the ball. Anyone any idea how long Potts will be out for?
Still yet to see anything promising from McGeehan. I'd have loved for him to really grab his opportunity today, but it just didn't happen for him.
We haven't enough quality in depth and it could be our undoing this season. When you consider we had a relatively inexperienced keeper, no like-for-like cover for Dougall, our driving force Potts was missing, the ineffective McGeehan had to start and withering Moncur played for 90 minutes...I'm relieved we are still unbeaten.
You must be joking. Including Bradshaw we were 4 key players short today. Missing chances is nothing to do with the depth of the squad. Could have won by 2 or 3 goals. I’d like to see any other team in this league lose 3 international players plus Potts and still look as strong as we did.
Not sure we missed Potts, thought Bahre did well as a replacement but we certainly missed Dougall. McGeehan nowhere near as good. Also worth bearing in mind that Walsall are the best team we’ve played
Second half not so much because we were creative but wasteful, but in the first half I thought we needed that bit of something going forward. We were a bit lacklustre and missed Potts running.
