MK Dons currently 3 - 0 up against Cambridge City with a home tie against AFC Wimbledon awaiting the winners. If MK do get through (looking likely), I wonder if AFC Wimbledon will give up their place in the competition and refuse to play in the fixture? Can't imagine many AFC fans will want to give any money to MK Dons. If the fixture is played, I hope we see a rampant AFC Wimbledon win!
its one game where i would be shouting for afc with "almost" asmuch enthusiasm as i do the reds."almost"
people are strange man city spend millions on a team of foreign players and that is fine same thing as mk in my opinion
the real soul of the club has gone last week champions league -crowd quiet as a mouse 8,000 empty seats
When did man city's foreign owners move the club to another city, change the teams name, change the teams colours and change the teams badge completely? I must have fallen asleep and missed the news or something.
I must be thick because I see absolutely no comparison at all between what happened to Wimbledon and what's happening at city. Wimbledon were moved about sixty miles, lost their name, colours, everything. The current owners didn't even move city to eastlands - they were already there. And it's two miles or so from moss side where Maine road was. So all you take exception to is them spending lots of money?
ask any long term city fan what they think , soul ripped out of the club , how come they cannot even sell out at home every week after spending millions ? I know 4 regulars from the old kippax who have packed in going this year no you are not thick just need to broaden your horizons
MK Dons are winning 6 - 1 at the moment so looks like it's definetley happening. Looking at their forum, sounds like the club will play the fixture but no directors will travel and they will most likely refuse a ticket allocation and instead have a Fans Day at their ground.
