I may be mistaken but wasn't it suggested that we should be expecting two players coming in this week? Seems to have gone a bit quiet on who the second target was and whether it's still on the cards. Any updates folks?

Jonny Buchan from Radio Sheff said after the McCarthy signing... that more were expected early next week mate.

Maybe players returning from their jollys..

Alan Nixon said the other day two or three could be announced at the start of next week.

One of those won't be the return of Ryan Kent.

Don't think they'd be many expecting him back anyway

Cheers guys, think we need to be bringing in at least 3-4 before the pre-season trip at the beginning of July. I keep hearing bits about Kent coming back on loan but I think as is usually the case any loan deals will be completed nearer the end of the window.

Id expect us to be trying to sign a winger of our own Isgrove? or someone we dont know about. If that doesnt come off we may well go to the loan market and if Kent is still availlable may take him back. Problem with Kent is we are developing someone elses player and its better we develop our own if possible

All transfers have been put on hold until the CEO finishes preparing for his first video interview on the website. He has made one additional signing though. A new advisor from Hemsworth

Think we all prefer permanent signings to loans but think loan signings offer a good opportunity to have a player who we would usually not be able to afford. Fletcher, Isgrove and Brownhill were all crucial in our promotion push. Other teams like Hudders have also showed how big of an impact such signings can have a team's season.

In other developments... Hecky and Bobby Hassell have both been sacked and the entire back office staff have been issued Puma tracksuits as mandatory uniform.

Also I was chatting with Hecky this morning and he said that he's trying to get Chelsea's entire youth squad in on loan, failing that he's happy to go with what we've got.

I heard we'd been watching a player at Kaiserslautern. That was at the end of last season.
