Mowatt

I think he's got the same problem as a lot of young players these days, in that they've trained for years as a 'number 10'. It's a complete luxury position and Mowatt struggles to impose himself on games when he's not there. Even when he is, he's not got the pace or power to really scare defenders, nice feet though he has.

 

Playing **** doesn't ruin careers, look at Dave Regis

 

Can't believe people are writing him off after playing 10 games, many as a sub.

I haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion, but he obviously has talent given he's made as many appearances as he has for Leeds.

 

There's a good footballer in there somewhere i just cant see how he can fit into our set up, he's not a winger, has little impact on the game as a No10 and cant play in a middle 2.

2014/2015 HE DID GET LEEDS 'FANS PLAYERS OF THE SEASON' & 'PLAYERS PLAYER' OF THE YEAR AT THE AGE OF 19.

 

I am not trying to be smart here, but this season, he doesn" t get on the pitch, its like criticising Mallen, I dont know how players can get stick when they are not actually playing or do we accept its all about past performances. I always hope that some players eventually come good, but I also concede that this does not always happen & the player moves on.

 

But true ! Except the Perkins bit !

 

You know he was only poor because the Barnsley fans were nasty to him ! I cant believe they have followed him to every club he has had since !!

 

That's why he never liked it from day one.

 

I heard that he is Leeds through and through and always has been.
Being sold from his home town club and then being sold to what is always viewed from Leeds fans as an 'inferior club' with them gloating must have been a wrench.
Could be true but might not be.
He's Leeds , we're Barnsley.
He's not performed
He's had plenty of chances.
He still doesn't perform.

So disappointing from the first minute he set a foot on the pitch, and then had to leave... what? 10 minutes later?

 

Hardly played , thought he did alright on the pitch pre season , obviously paid a price with Hecky for getting sent off with a reckless challenge early doors and now has a liability tag on him , would give a chance at the weekend .

 

You need help!

 

I reckon he could surprise us yet.

 

I don't actually miss them! But I'm seriously unsure whether they would be any worse than Potts or Moncur.

 

Daft to write him off, we have a first 11 that he hasn't made but he's on the bench, what's that say about people not on the bench?
