    Jan Aage Fjortoft’s son has a podcast and recent episode is with Dane Murphy. Interesting chat. Mentions the genius that is James Cryne. Interesting stuff regarding recruitment. Sounds like we are going to be fairly active this window. Last couple minutes sound like he’ll be off as soon as he gets a good offer.

    Which one is it? I can't see any mention of Dane and the most recent podcast is almost a month ago.

    they said “where do you see yourself in 5 year” and he said “a big club in Europe or USA. Looking forward to see what opportunities come my way in the future”

    I wouldn’t put money on him being here long enough for a testimonial put it that way

    Really frustrating this.
    Gally put one up of Dane Murphy that no foooker could listen to - and now we have another Dane Murphy interview that no foooker can listen to.
    And the thing is ....... these interviews are of real interest to the fans who take particular note of goings on behind the scenes.

    Mad that our CEO position has now become a conveyor belt too. I wouldn't mind if it didn't take us 6 months to replace each one!

    For those who want a sum up, first half is him talking about his career and differences between American and European soccer.

    talks a fair bit about our recruitment policy. Head coach doesn’t have much say, players are bought through data approach and to fit the style of play. Head coaches are recruited due to their ability to fit in with style of play so not a major clear out every time new coach brought in.

    James Cryne a genius who devised the system. Billy Beane added his knowledge and experience

    trying to bring in 5-6 players this window but a little behind as didn’t know league they’d be in

    owners open to developing links between the clubs they own

    interesting he said he felt owners brought him in due to his knowledge of central and southern American markets (as we’ve obviously not used this knowledge yet)

    think that was main BFC related stuff.
