One of the greatest sportsmen Britain has ever produced, who also comes across as an all-round very decent bloke. Some of the vindictiveness towards him I find absolutely mystifying.

He comes across as an all round decent monotone miserable bloke.

Can't divorce him from that "I'm gonna get stabbed" Glasvegas track whenever I hear him.

Doesn't stop me always supporting him, or loving that Glasvegas album.

Plus shortbread, golf, scotch, Ronnie Glavin etc.

He seemed pretty proud to represent GB at the Olympics and in the Davis Cup.

You really need to take a long hard look at yourself Dragon. A man of your age really should have some dignity.

Just jealousy John. Was out and about in Camden other night thought I saw Taylor so hid in a doorway as I was being a grown up at the time.

Not sure Dragon but I think it was for giving birth to one of the greatest sportsmen ever.

You are one seriously stupid man. A simple search on the web would have given you your answer, and saved you making a complete tit of yourself on here again. And as for her son, no-one on here understands in the slightest what your obsession is with seeing one of our greatest ever sportsmen fail. He's achieved more in life than you could even dream of. You just come across as the worst sort of petty, jealous doom-monger, who tries to cover up his own inadequacies with constantly bringing this country down and belittling its success stories.

Before the competition if he had won he had pledged his full £350k prize to the blaze fund
so from that perspective I am disappointed he's lost.

Comes over as dour when in reality he appears to be shy lad and is undoubtedly very modest.
As Churton Red has rightly said he's a great British sportsman and a very proud Scot.

A selfless guy who with friends and fellow sportsman has over the years raised cash for Comic relief, Small steps project,
Sport Relief, Sports Aid, Global Fund and the kids Cancer charity Make-a-wish foundation.
He's also a patron of Malaria no More.
