Get behind the lad instead of being down beat about it from the off.... It's the type of player we need along side mamadou!
I wonder what HT would have thought of Glavin or Aylott both of who had inauspicious starts to their BFC careers
Come on, games and players before 1992 are the strictly conspiracy theories. Did they happen? Not convinced.
They accepted 250k from Peterborough..... So why on earth would we pay 750k? It didn’t happen. Rob Staton is wrong
The only prediction I will make is that This will be the most bookmarked thread in BB history.....to be continued...
I could’ve dreamt it I suppose, I mean I thought one of them was a stocky Scottish bloke who in this dream excited a generation of Barnsley fans and was widely held as the best player ever to play for the club. Yes it must have been a dream as how could a player like this exist as there were no academies at the time. Silly me.
Scottish bloke? Carried a big sword and shouted 'freedom' a lot? Yeah, heard the stories but not convinced missen.
Hehe. He’s not in his own though tbf - look at the stick Potts etc have endured this season . If they’re not tearing it up from minute 1 then they’re written off . Didn’t Aylott score on his debut v Torquay in the FA Cup or have the years puddled my brain ?
On this rare occasion I will have to somewhat agree with the OP. I am far from convinced by this signing. No problem if he's to be a squad player but a bit of a problem if he's first choice.
I was a season ticket holder at Forest Green for two seasons and used to run a coach to the away games.
Kin ‘ell Conan, he may fit into the first team and bag goal after goal... or not. There are no guarantees either way although the fact that it is a three and a half year contract is a statement of intent from the new owners. If he’s good and is sold it would be for a good fee. He may also be the first of half a dozen players signed. I know I’m a bit of a fraud in this as I no longer go but I have a knowledge of how these things go after watching from 1974 to 2015
There will be plenty singing his praises without having seen him kick a ball. I suppose that's acceptable because it's positive.
