But had some physalis this afternoon. Very tasty. I'm probably the only one on here who hasn't heard of it, though! <img src ="http://freshfruitatwork.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Physalis.jpg">
Re: Very refreshing flavour its sometimes known as a Chinese lantern fruit, or a Peruvian ground cherry(that's where it originates from)
you have to understand that our Kev had a very sheltered life he was brought up by a strange primeval tribe in the rain forests of Dodworth. Fed mostly on bread and gravy, taught rudimentary languages from the Chronicles of Barnsley. Allegedly he was found by a kind Crystal Fairy who taught him how to crudely hold a spoon and grin when he made a botty noise.
Why would I need a hairnet? Anyway, in a couple of month's time I'm going to be back at work. The physalis will be a pleasant addition to my snap.
By "work" I presume he means..... .... sitting in a trench, watching young ladies in various states of undress, dig up old ruins.
well Carenza's trench is quite accomodating I have heard said not sure if the Crystal Fairy would approve mind.
go to Yeovil next term ... discover that old Ruin called Cazi if she gets to hear of this I am done for.
