Never heard of this fruit

But had some physalis this afternoon. Very tasty. I'm probably the only one on here who hasn't heard of it, though!

it is supposed to be good as an anti oxidant matey.

its sometimes known as a Chinese lantern fruit, or a Peruvian ground cherry(that's where it originates from)

you have to understand that our Kev had a very sheltered life

he was brought up by a strange primeval tribe in the rain forests of Dodworth. Fed mostly on bread and gravy, taught rudimentary languages from the Chronicles of Barnsley. Allegedly he was found by a kind Crystal Fairy who taught him how to crudely hold a spoon and grin when he made a botty noise.

Have you been to see the doctor, he could maybe prescribe some antibiotics for it!

 

Why would I need a hairnet?

Anyway, in a couple of month's time I'm going to be back at work. The physalis will be a pleasant addition to my snap.
