Never mind Pottsy - why aren't we celebrating Woodrow?

All the doom and gloom about Potts leaving - and we now probably know that it was his decision and he had a release clause so it's not to do with the Club's ambitions and being a selling club. Instant hysteria and condemnation without knowing the facts.

However why not some more attention on Cauley Woodrow signing a new contract? He is a classier player than Potts in my opinion - and shows that he is enjoying playing at the club - a very good signing. Shows the intent from the Board to go for promotion. We can replace Pottsy.

We knew he was signing - still a fantastic player for us

I agree it looked to me as though a release clause was triggered with it all being done so quickly....

Potts decided he wanted to go so best of luck to him and we move on with a bit of money to spend and wages freed up to recruit.

Probably because we knew he would be signing and only a bizarre Morsy-esque mess up would have scuppered things. But yes it's great business and the length of contract is encouraging. If he continues scoring he could give us a very good profit soon whilst being vital to us in the mean time.

We signed him in the summer. May as well celebrate signing Ethan Pinnock or Kieffer Moore

I love Woodrow and I hope he scores his first hat trick for us!

Considering he’s moving to his previous club’s rivals (Blackpool) he’s taking a chance. Remember PNE playing Blackpool in a cup match and there was a fierce atmosphere. Hope it works for him though.
