MIllwall players, blocking runs off ball, pulling arms, leaning on our players, pushing in back, arms on shoulders, thought I was watching an American football team ,putting blocks in off the ball to make space for team mates, what did ref and his lines men do,to protect us nothing !!

    Seen much, much worse.

They weren’t anywhere close to what we saw from Brighton a few years back and even Cardiff this season.

Some would call it being professional and hard to beat.

Yes. I wouldn’t have bought a season ticket for 20 consecutive seasons if I didn’t find it exciting.

Agreed. they have won 10 of their 14 league games since the start of the new year ... and lost just one. Also this was their 6th away win on the spin. I seriously do believe they have bullied their way through that many games. In fact they have only lost 2 of their last 20 league games winning 14 of them and drawing the remaining 4. That's 48 points from a possible 60. They are 3 points from the play offs. I wish our lot were in that position.

Millwall today exemplified everything we used to be about. To focus on their gamesmanship ignores the real issue. With no more ability than our players they put in a shift, were well organised, and had the nous to close the game out. If we can't see that then we're blind.

I opened this thread thinking that you were on about our lot pinching a living by impersonating footballers

They were just so much sharper than us. First to every ball harrying is all the tine. Yes some of it was the wrong side of the rules but the fight was in them but not in us

Not many points for playing with the spirit of the game, unfortunately!

Do you think the home games this season could be classified as ‘exciting’. I’m grouting some tiles tomorrow you can come watch me only 20 quid if that’s what you class as excitement.

Well if all times are exciting to you, then perhaps there's no need to keep reminding us.

You didn't do so the previous 19 times you renewed.

absolutely , Dave... Take a look on their official site... at the first team. Not many hugely famous players but a good blend of young players and some older experienced ones too, our plan simply does not work. We have the youngest squad when you look at its average age. We also have used the most players so far this season. That's no way to build a settle team with any kind of form.

That's right. Always in the ear of the ref. Slyly kicking the ball away when clearly hearing the refs whistle first. Holding onto the ball. Stopping us taking quick free kicks. Wish we weren't so nice and got more clued up on it all.

Didn’t leave the ground with that impression to be honest.
Sounds like sour grapes to me.
