Was looking across the moors coming down Wakey Rd and saw a strange thin line next to the big tower. Looked it up and theyve built a new temporary one to last 4 year. Guna be weird

It's a shame they are going to make it shorter. It will still be the tallest free standing building in the UK, but cutting some off is disapointing.

I work up at the mast. Been interesting watching it go up with the heli-lifts.

It's cheaper like the passports, that's what happens when you vote to leave, the foreigners undercut our prices...

More to do with availability of one in the country, especially with the facility to list 2.5 tonne pieces of metal..

Fantastic view.. On a nice clear day with no haze, you can make out the Humber Bridge, grea views of Wakey, Leeds, Barnsley etc.

Was at the 3 Acres on Sunday taking my mum out for lunch. I wondered what they were doing. Rather them then me. This guy would have been OK.

It's a shame they don't do tours like other buildings around the world do. If they did they would make a fortune.

It would be great if they did and Id definitely pay to go up, im guessing however its not viable because its operational?

I was told they used to do some tours many moons ago but that was all stopped after the whole 9/11 security step up.

They let Freddie Flintoff up for his TV show on Sky 1 with his mate. If they charged a tenner to take you up and down and be allowed up there for however length of time, it would take in thousands.

Not for me. Makes my legs go funny just watching the video. No idea how he does that for real.

It's more just the health and safety considerations these days. Much more strict now.

Great video. But still can't decide if the earth is flat or not... ;)
