Really can't see us getting Tedesco. Imagine there will be much bigger clubs willing to give him a chance.
1. Tony Pulis 2. Gary Rowett 3. Hannes Wolf Top 2 for the main reason they have plenty of experience in the championship, probably not the best style they play but could help us get the points we need.
Tony Pulis wouldn't want players given to him, I'd like Rowett but I think he falls into the same category of being more of a Manager like Pulis. Hannes Wolf on the other hand would fit the clubs current ethos.
Can’t argue wi any of that. Just hope to god that they see a little bit of sense I get someone in who could actually make a difference. Definitely not holding my breath
We need a yes man who can work with young players and improve them. It will be another cheap foreign manager weve never heard of if the spreadsheet is to keep up its current trends
Yeah it would definitely help the board regain a bit of support if we were able to get him. I reckon it will be another complete unknown.
It’s probably fair to say if DS couldn’t get results with the current set up/players, so do we want a Manager/Coach who will fit the same ethos and style of play or someone who will come in and help stay up?
Be happy with any of those but really don’t see any of them happening either an unknown foreign coach or appoint from within
Genuine question, what combination of these players in what style will be good enough to stay up? If we go defensive we will get hammered even more IMO we simply don’t have the defensive quality. You can’t coach an apple to be an orange. The only way I see us staying up is the owners accepting a reduction in profits and looking at some free agents and high quality, experienced signings in January which ain’t gonna happen.
For me it's got to be someone who is more able to adapt to how opposition set up, with the players we have we need to pick a team to get the result not just stick to a particular system or style week in week out I'd also like to see a more settled back line there's been far too many changes each game.
To go and play a defensive counter attacking game you need a striker who can play with his back to goal...
TBH, I think it’s need to be somewhere in between, not so gung ho going forward and get the back line working as a unit. Going forward I don’t think we are far off clicking, but defensively some of the defending has been horrific, if we can sort that out we won’t be far off. With some common sense in the Jan transfer window as well of course.
