The new one opposite Morrison’s in town. Took my grandsons there after school yesterday and was less than impressed. The self serve area was messy with lots of cups with just a splodge of barbecue sauce in. The barbecue sauce had run out hence the number of cups with just a splodge in, had been empty a while if the number of cups was any indication. Food arrived as I was looking for sauce, food was less than hot. Wrong milkshake served so had to go back again. Drinking straw not issued with replacement milkshake so had to go back again. Food by now just about lukewarm. Milkshake was nicely thick but lacking flavour. It was the post school rush no doubt but we had a choice of several places to sit so they weren’t mega busy.
I went to drive thru last night staff sounded like they didn’t want to be there told me to wait in the bays whilst food was done took them 15 mins to bring food by which time it was cold can’t beat the one at Asda
Take him 00 Bar or backyard BBQ. You can get a pizza pint and some pop for a tenner and be full. And is about the same on the health scale as well.
A little known fact is that McDonald's have a promise on there terms of service(this is on a poster somewhere in the building) That food must be delivered /served either in the building or to drive through within 3 mins from time of order or a refund as well as food must b offered .allways check the time on the receipt I've had free burgers from them several times. Also if you collect the tokens for free coffee at drive through order a coffee saying you have loyalty voucher they won't ask for voucher and ya get a free coffee( I can't remember last coffee I paid for
Do you have a time limit on serving time? We do not set time limits on completing orders due to the vastly different busy periods, types of orders and special requests from customers that our crew see each day. We do have internal measures though to help us deliver better service and always strive to serve customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. It's a sad situation that we have two McDonald's so close to each other and both will likely be packed most of the time.
The burger kings I have had recently have been really expensive and very poor tasting food. My one rasher of “bacon” on a dry bun for the breakfast was abysmal and cost an arm and a leg.
Snobs. I love a Maccy’s now and again. It’s not really a meal though, just summat I grab now and again when out and about.
The three minutes rule is somewhat of an urban myth. If you complain about delays they will sometimes give you something free as a gesture of good will but they're under no obligation to do so.
