Now you can't muck about with the pantones! Try passing off a cornforth white for ammonite and i'll be raging... just not on I tell you!
Who is being barmy?!?!?! Deadly serious... mind you, I am in the middle of decorating... some paint is actually making it onto the walls and not just me!
Oh that all just adds to the headaches.... along with being upside down now and then and dust from sanding... all fine, no barmy implications at all.... WOOHOO..... WOOHOOO.... big dogs... landing on my face...... nope, no barmyness here, not even a smidgeon (not to be confused with widgeon or pigeon)
Ah... now I get the shirt. Far too clever and subtle. It was supposed to all be red.... but they mocked it up as if they'd run out of dye.... like they'd run out of paint when tarting up the ground!
I like it, but then again my wife regularly tells me that I must have got dressed in the dark: what do I know
Years ago in London I was asked by a gentleman from the USA to explain a sign in a car park which said "Beware of the Bollards". I explained that bollards were big white birds that would swoop down and try and peck your eyes out. The poor bloke was petrified and I've felt terrible ever since.
I never buy a shirt and don’t care what it looks like as long as it’s red but I have to say, this is one of the finer examples I’ve seen in 50 years of watching.
My thoughts exactly, don’t really have an opinion on the shirt but we should always play either in white socks or better still, hoops.
Shown this shirt to several non-barnsley supporters and first thing they say is "so you've got bricks because your sponsor is the investment room?" Not very well thought out this one I don't think. I appreciate the clubs efforts to appease fans who complain about template shirts but think on this occasion a plain red background or something a bit more subtle would've been the better option.
Am I the only one who doesn't really care about the shirt? I'm not keen, but it's an unwinnable argument as we all have different views. I just want us to win lots of matches - if we do that I couldn't give a toss about the shirt.
