    I've used Lilac Garage in Brierley for 20 years, guy called Chris Little. Ring in advance and he'll check what he has in, if not what you want, will order them in with 48 hours.

    70% worn pads means 30% life left in them to me!

    Agree about the Bridgestones. Had some Turanza's fitted to my last Octavia, lasted over 35000 miles. Place I go to in Brierley has fitted Kumho and Avon tyres too, no issues with either.

    Your tyres will have a TWI on them, tread wear indicator, this will be like a dimple in one of the grooves to show you how much life is left in the tyre.

    Got 2 mil left on 3 of them (legal limit is 1.6 mil) one has over 4 mil left on it but I might as well replace all 4 and have a spare
